Boy Scouts

Boy Scout Troop 20 offers great Scouting experience for boys from 5th grade to senior in high school. Regular Troop meetings cover Citizenship and other civic skills. Monthly campouts get the Scouts hiking, backpacking, canoeing, skiing, camping and other fun outdoor activities.  Many Troop 20 Scouts earn the rank of Eagle.  For information, contact Matt Mueller: [email protected]

Cub Scouts

Pack #20 scouting offers a program for 6-11 year-olds to develop character, citizenship and mental and physical fitness.  With adult leadership, cub scouts are guided to develop self-reliance, consideration and help of others, and personal courage.  Each class grade has its own Den led by 2-3 trained adult parent leaders and meets typically once per month as a Den (typically Wednesday).  All Cub Scouts are also part of the overall Pack which includes multiple grades, which also meets once per month (typically Friday).  Most meetings are conveniently held at Ascension.  Parents are also a key part of the Cub Scout experience so it is great activity to do with your child.

We do various activities all year round including:  Rocket Launch, Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta Boat race, Museum Overnight Sleepover, Camping, Outdoor activities/games, etc.  We can work around schedules for other activities that children have as well.  We are looking for new members from in and around our School, Parish and Community.  For information, contact Rob Lamont: [email protected]

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts provide a time for girls to get together to socialize and to participate in community work. Individual troops take part in different community service jobs, such as picking up litter around church, planting flowers in the Spring, buying presents at Christmas time for families at St. Martin DePorres, visiting nursing homes and making presents for the Ronald McDonald House.
