Congratulations to Ella Lee,
the 2018 Ascension National Geography Bee Champion!

Ella was the last student standing in an exciting Finals Round and tense Championship Round featuring talented sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Ella will now take an online examine in her quest to qualify for the State Championship! Well done, Ella!

Dinner for a Cause at Obsessed!

Tonight and tomorrow, January 17th & 18th!

Help Obsessed Kitchen & Bar kick off their new winter menu and raise some money for Ascension School! Mention that your are an Ascension family and 10% of your bill will be donated to our school. 800 S. Oak Park Ave.

Bring out the Blue and Support the Lady Chargers at this Friday’s Pack the Place!

To unite around and support Ascension’s girl basketball teams, Student Council has secured a School Spirit Day for this Friday, January 19. All students may wear Ascension clothing or solid blue shirts to school on Friday as we prepare to cheer on our teams. This dress down day has no charge, but please follow the guidelines and wear Ascension gear or solid blue ONLY.

Early Childhood Family Spirit Night - February 5

On Monday, February 5, Home & School is sponsoring an Early Childhood Spirit Night with a Pizza Dinner from 5 to 5:30 PM (in the Pine Room), a pre-school/kindergarten performance at 5:45 in the gym, followed by the 8th grade Ascension Chargers versus St. Luke’s basketball game at 6 PM.

Bring the family for the complimentary pizza dinner and then enjoy a pre-game show, performed by your Early Childhood student in the Ascension gym! When you RSVP, please let us know how many adults and children will be eating. For more information or to RSVP, click below.

Mission Day 2018 - Friday, February 16th

Mission Day is the longest running school hosted event at Ascension. In order to make it a success, we rely on the generosity of our community. We are in need of bakers for the ever popular Cake Walk and volunteers to help run games. To volunteer to bake or help the day of the event, please go to Volunteer.

We are also in need of gift card and monetary donations to help make our raffle a success. To make a donation or if you have any questions, please contact the Mission Day committee at Email.

Religious Education Casino Night

It’s not too late to register to attend Casino Night. It’s a fun night of games and conversation!

When: Saturday, January 27, 2018

Time: 7 pm to 11 pm

Where: The Tennis & Fitness Centre, 301 Lake Street, Oak Park, IL

Contribution: $40

We will provide a taco bar, two wine or beer tickets and $10 in chips.

Come join us for blackjack, craps, poker, roulette, a split-the-pot raffle, fabulous prizes and a night of community, conversation and fun! Unfortunately, tickets are limited, so order quickly. Purchase tickets through this link: Register or by visiting the Religious Ed office.
