We have three Ascension Church choirs directed by David Anderson. Our Adult Choir and Schola welcome teens and adults to join them in singing at the 11:00 AM and 9:00 AM Sunday Masses. Our Choristers is open to children in grades 3-8. We invite all parish children to participate.

Ascension Adult Choir

The Adult Choir both enhances and supports the song of the assembly. Choral repertoire in a variety of styles (from classical to contemporary) is prepared and sung throughout the year.
 
Mass: 11 AM Mass on all but the first Sunday of each month.
Rehearsal: Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.
Requirements: Open to all singers, high school age and older. Currently 58 members.

Ascension Schola

Schola was formed for those who like to sing but are unable to commit to a weekly rehearsal or Mass. Schola Gallery

Mass: 9 AM Mass on second and fourth Sundays of each month (September-May).
Rehearsals: Three Tuesday evenings each month from 7:30-9:00 PM. 
Requirements: Open to all singers, high school age and older. Currently 45 members.

Ascension Choristers

Ascension Choristers is a fun and meaningful way for children to participate in the Mass. 
 
Mass: 9:00 AM Mass on the first Sunday of each month (October-June) and the third Sunday of each month (October-March). Please note this schedule may change throughout the year based on the liturgical season and school schedule.
 
Rehearsals: Wednesdays from 3:05-4:00 PM. Students in religious education classes are released early as needed. Students with later school release times on Wednesdays are invited to join us and practice from 4:05-4:35 PM on Wednesdays. Please contact Mr. Anderson about this later rehearsal time.
 
Rehearsals generally take place 3 times per month in church or the choir room of church. A snack is served at 3:05 PM before the start of each rehearsal. We also have pizza days several times throughout the season!
 
Requirements: All children in grades 3 through 8 are welcome.
